  • my daughter is amazing. she just learned how to emulate a train whistle — she puts her arm into the air and says, “too-too.” because, of course, she can’t say the “ch” sound yet. i find this very entertaining. along with the fact that when she goes up the stairs she says, “hup” because she thinks that there is an “h” sound before the word up. i know that my daughter is not a genius when compared to any measurable standards, but to me, she’s smarter than Einstein.

there are a few things starting to line up on the horizon for me and my family that i’m pretty excited about, but i don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket or to count my chicks before they’ve hatched, so i will add details as they come to me.

i want my family to have the best life that we can have. i don’t know exactly what that means or entails but everyday i learn a little more and i realize that most of the time, all we need is each other.

  • This makes me smile. I wish you and your family nothing but the best <3.

  • your description of how she does the train whistle made me smile too if your camera can record short video clips you should save her doing that — it’s something you will definitely love looking back on one day!!

I think people often underestimate what extreme value there is in time spent with others.

  • The Beatles said it best, “All you need is love”.

Post some pictures, your daughter is too cute and I adore baby (well she isn’t really a baby baby anymore) pictures.

  • Growing up is great aint it, for mommies and kiddies.

Oh and don’t worry too much about the rest of winter you have to suffer yet, the summer will be so splendid you won’t mind the wait.

And shoveling snow is a good work out!

  • Thanks for the comment on my page:)

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but I am still trying to sift through everyone’s comment.

    Again, thanks.

    Cheers,

    Skylar
